At Eden Cafe, we believe in the power of community and the impact of good vibes, especially when shared with those who shape the future—our teachers. This Teacher Appreciation Week, we had the incredible opportunity to volunteer our Nomadic Sips Coffee Catering services to Union High School, and what an amazing experience it was!
The Journey Begins
Friday morning, bright and early, we loaded up our van with all the essentials. From espresso shots to hot water with oat milk, syrups, cream, sugar, and our trusty milk frother, we had everything we needed to bring the full Eden Cafe experience to Union High School. The road from our cafe to the school was filled with excitement as we anticipated the joy of brewing joy for Teacher Appreciation with Nomadic Sips.
Setting Up
Upon arrival, the school's staff warmly welcomed us and set us up in the office adjacent to the breakfast area. The principal and other administrators had worked tirelessly to create a supportive environment for their teachers, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. They not only made us feel welcome but also coordinated with teachers to ensure they got their orders efficiently without missing a beat in their busy schedules.
Serving the Teachers
Throughout the morning, we served over 50 teachers with a variety of coffees and lattes, both hot and iced. The smiles on their faces as they sipped their customized drinks were priceless. It was a true pleasure to bring a dash of Eden Cafe’s good vibes to their day, providing a moment of relaxation and appreciation for their hard work. Brewing joy for Teacher Appreciation with Nomadic Sips was a heartwarming experience for all involved.
A Reminder of Our Mission
Experiences like this remind us why we opened Eden Cafe in the first place—to pour into the community that pours into us. We aim to be a light wherever we go, spreading positivity and delicious coffee. On that Friday, we succeeded in adding a touch of joy to an already special Teacher Appreciation Week, engaging in wonderful conversations and serving up delightful beverages.
